Hydrogen Storage Could Be Key to Germany’s Energy Plans – Technology Review.

This interesting article shows the depth of the challenge facing alternative energy systems, and why more research dollars need to be invested into solving them. Being able to store the electricity created by wind and solar to maintain base load power is the main hold back. There have been exciting developments in battery technology, but building large-scale storage facilities with new battery technology will take enormous resources. Failure is not an option.
