Epcor system supplies refiner with millions of litres of water.

There are many amazing technologies being developed and worked on every day, and most of us never hear about them. In the quest to deal with serious water issues facing oil sands development, this story from the Calgary Herald about turning Edmonton’s wastewater into water that is usable for industrial processes, promises good rewards. Rather having to draw fresh water, Suncor can now use recycled waste water.

That’s good news ! Water is one thing that the world cannot afford to waste anymore. It’s an exhaustible resource. what we have now is what’s left of the water supply. More important than oil, in my opinion.
